The
17th Virginia Nippon Classic was held at James River Country Club. Virginia
Economic Development Partnership organized this event and Japan-Virginia
Society (JVS) supported it.
James
River Country Club is completely private, and usually members only
are allowed to play.
The
clubhouse is time-honored!
The
clubhouse maintains the
oldest golf museum in the world.
The business conference
was held in the conference room of the clubhouse in
the morning.
Mr.
Gary McLaren, VEDP, gave his address as organizer of the
business conference.
This
course has very good maintenance and layout. Golf
in the afternoon was captain's choice, where they choose the best
ball of four players'.
